To keep minerals and powders in the jar and below the sifter top, leave the clear seal in place on the sifter top. Use a toothpick to poke a hole through ONE of the center holes in the sifter top. Then swirl your brush in the sifter top, tap off the excess and buff on your skin. There's no need to transfer makeup to the lid, and less chance of accidental spills.
If you'd like more makeup in the sifter top, before opening the jar, give it an upside down shake. Still want more makeup in the sifter top? Poke open more of the center holes in the sifter top.
Quickly load minerals or loose powder on a brush by dipping only the brush tip very lightly into the sifter top. Then turn the brush tip straight up and tap the end of the brush handle gently on the counter. The makeup will move into the brush and be ready to buff on skin.
To label your contents, use a silver permanent felt tip pen on the side of the black matte lid to note jar contents that are close in color for even easier use. Labelers are great, too!
IMPORTANT! When placing the sifter top in a jar, be sure at least one hole is open on the sifter top to allow air to escape when you snap it into place.
